Uragano Irma, panico in Florida: presi d'assalto i supermercati. "Scorte finite"

Paura in Florida e in tutta la zona a nord dei Caraibi per il passaggio dell'uragano Irma che, col passare delle ore, sta acquisendo sempre più forza e potrebbe avere conseguenze devastanti sulle coste. L'uragano ha raggiunto ormai la categoria 4 e potrebbe raggiungere la Florida entro l'inizio della prossima settimana.

Lo rende noto il National Hurricane Center, spiegando che in base alla traiettoria Irma potrebbe toccare la costa orientale degli Stati Uniti la prossima settimana. Anche se il suo percorso rimane ancora incerto.

Ad essere minacciata è soprattutto la Florida, dove i piani per affrontare una eventuale emergenza meteorologica sono già pronti anche se non è stato finora proclamato nessuno stato di allerta. Intanto, però, i cittadini hanno preso d'assalto supermercati e centri commerciali: diverse scorte di viveri sono già esaurite.
