Ci sono però dei britannici che non ci stanno, e hanno deciso di adottare un'iniziativa decisamente social per affermare il massimo sostegno ai migranti che vivono nel loro paese. Il loro simbolo è diventato la spilla da balia, in inglese 'safety pin', per ribadire che con loro ogni immigrato è al sicuro. Su Twitter le foto con l'hashtag #safetypin hanno spopolato.
